Our 2023 Master of Ceremonies - NBC 7's Audra Stafford
Audra is proud to be a part of the NBC 7 News Team as a morning reporter and fill-in anchor. Audra has been covering the news in San Diego County for more than two decades as a television news writer, producer and reporter. She also spent several years as a correspondent for the syndicated lifestyle show California Life and for BroadwayWorld.com and is the host of Broadway/San Diego’s annual Season Preview TV special.
Audra is the recipient of seven Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter. She also received two Student Emmys while at San Diego State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Film and New Media Production. Our 2023 Entertainment - The Front Porch Pandemic Jazz Band
The Front Porch Pandemic Jazz Band was started by sax player Greg Pardue (Forecast), Jack Hoffman (piano, drums), and Roy Jenkins (bass) in April 2020, at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, playing outdoors weekly in University City.
In 2021, they were voted "Reader Best Local Band" and were finalists for "Best Cover Band" and "Best Neighborhood Event." The band has also included Phil Marcus (guitar, vocals), Ray Conseur (drums, percussion), Jim Napier (trumpet, flugelhorn), Chris Penny (piano), and Mark Phelps (bass). -San Diego Reader Magazine |
