Audra Stafford is excited to be back emceeing Cheers for Charity!
Audra has been covering the news in San Diego County for more than two decades. She started as a television news writer and producer and has been a morning reporter and fill-in anchor at NBC 7 since 2017. She also spent several years as a correspondent for the syndicated lifestyle show California Life and for BroadwayWorld.com and is the host of Broadway San Diego’s annual Season Preview TV special.
Throughout her career, Audra has interviewed many of the entertainment industry’s finest actors, directors, producers, and musicians, including Tom Cruise, Robin Williams, Jerry Bruckheimer, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Idina Menzel and Frankie Valli, just to name a few.
Audra is the recipient of seven Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter. She also received two Student Emmys while at San Diego State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Film and New Media Production. GO AZTECS!
